Seamus Byrne is the epitome of Ventrue Rule. He surveys all that he commands with a seasoned glare that causes mortals and Kindred alike to balk when his attention is focused solely on them. Throughout his un-life Seamus has dealt with peaks and valleys that would cause a normal psyche to break into pieces. While held in captivity, Seamus had plenty of time to think on his feelings and thoughts, and after the blood frenzy faded, he vowed never again to allow that kind of connection with another person, ever.

Seamus is currently known as the herald of the Ventrue clan. His presence in a city ensures the Ventrue’s hold on the city initially. He aspires to seat a Ventrue Prince in each city, Ventrue ruled the first city of Kindred, we were at the head of the table during the Convention of thorns, and we will be the leaders of the Camarilla for all time, as it is we who were choosen by Caine first.

Seamus’s appearance in Oklahoma City is not a surprise to most, yet his position within the Ventrue, though glorious as it may seem, is coming to a close. It is time for Seamus to claim a territory for his own, and carve a path out of Kindred history that will never be forgotten.

Physical Description

Seamus appears as a balding slightly overweight 30yo man. His features show the tell tale signs of royalty, and good health. He stands about 5’11” tall, and has a reddish/Brown hair color, with slightly more red in his goatee, and slightly more brown in his eyebrows. The green of his eyes, reveal a direct link to his Irish lineage.

1. Born in 1570, Ireland to a Lord in the Coriondi region.
   1. During his young adult years he excelled at leadership, and Battlefield Tactics. This led to his training as a leader in the Army that protects his father's lands.
   2. He was a good lad who treated the people well, and would soon grow to be a great leader.
   3. His Father was a ghoul for an elder Ventrue.
2. Falls in Love with English royalty (1590)
3. Participated in the Battle of Kinsale. (1601)
   1. Was 2nd in command of his father’s army, but wasn’t able to save him from being killed.
   2. Started being groomed for embrace, to replace his father.
4. Embraced in 1607 during the Flight of the Earls
   1. Wife was not embraced
5. Participates in the 30 year war in Europe (1618-1648)
   1. Assists English nobles lead their army.
   2. Moved against a Nosferatu elder, who kidnapped his wife. As he went to the Nosferatu to get his wife back, he was forced to lead his armies away from the field of battle.(1620)
   3. Ventrue found out about his betrayal, and forced him to watch his wife die slowly of starvation. He was also starved of Vitae during this time, but kept in the same cell as her. (1621)
   4. After 2 years of this torture, the Ventrue finally let him loose in his cell, and he drained his wife of all her blood in a Blood Frenzy. Seamus learned his lesson well, and vowed never to become attached to another person again. Moved to England(1623)
   5. Devoted himself to replacing his emotions with his desire for power and influence. Began ghouling George Villiers, and grooming for embrace, per Elder Ventrue orders.
   6. Had George Assassinated.(1628) Seamus begins throwing all support behind King Charles I.
   7. Lasombra Start civil war between Parliament and Charles I (1642)
   8. Parliament wind battle of Marston Moor. (Sends assassin after Charles I. (1644)
   9. Parliament wins battle of Naseby, Seamus diverts assassin at William Laud, Assassin takes bait. (1645)
   10. Charles I surrenders, then starts another civil war, Ventrue come to his aide with the support of the Scots, Charles I restored to power.
   11. King Charles I beheaded (1649)
   12. Assists in Establishing Oliver Cromwell Lord Protector of England (1659), who is then ousted by a Lasombra backed Scot named Charles II (1660)
   13. Puts into motion events that cause great fire of London (1666)
6. Attended Lady Anne Bowesley’s Embrace (1682)
   1. Moved back to Ireland (1690)
7. Attended the Treaty of Durham (1693)
   1. Remained in Ireland until Accompanied Ventrue Justicar to America to establish Camarilla presence in New England Territories.
8. Travels to America to “set up shop” (1720)
   1. Worked alongside Camarilla clans to establish Camarilla Presence, Expands influence west to Ohio territories
9. Enters the French-Indian War when retainers die in Ohio (1753)
   1. Moves to the forefront of the war against Sabbat and Anarchs for Ohio Territory. (1754)
   2. Contacts Sire in England to notify of French Sabbat/Anarch Atrocities against the Camarilla. Brittan moves against France and start of Seven years war. (1756)
   3. With the assistance of a majority Brujah/Gangrel/Ventrue force, the Camarilla capture Montreal from Sabbat, Final death for Jean L Ferront. (1759)
10. Attends signing of Treaty of Paris (1763)
    1. Begins rebuilding retainers, and influence in mortal realm concentrates in Boston, and on the political battlefield. (1764)
11. Loses many ghouls in the Boston Massacre.(1770)
    1. Begins investigation into Massacre, hears talks of splitting from English rule. (1772)
    2. Attempts to stop Declaration of Independence, all resources utilized, decided a much larger authority behind this.
    3. Investigates true reasoning behind massacre and Declaration of Independence, and finds Sabbat Malkavian, and Lasombra influences. (1778)
12. Loses all holdings in Boston to Brujah, Malkavian, and Gangrel. Moves West (1783)
    1. Begins travelling the United States, not sticking around too long to hold much influence.
13. Assists the US in finalizing the “Louisiana Purchase” (1803)
    1. Moves more north, the south doesn’t suit his tastes. (1820)
14. Assisted George Porter, Thomas Owen, and William Weatherford in drafting the second Treaty of Chicago. Once signed, moved permanent residence to Chicago (1833)
    1. Remained in Chicago and Continued to help it grow into one of the Largest Transportation and Telecommunications hub of North America.

15. Great fire of Chicago started by Malkies, loses two homes, and a dozen Retainers, gains a blood boon from Malkavian Primogen. (1871)

    1. Initial Sabbat presence felt. Attempted to convince prince to develop a task force to root out their reach of influence. (1890)

    3. Sabbat begins guerilla warfare to weaken Camarilla stance in Chicago. (1956)
17. Prince of Chicago declares Blood Hunt on all Lupines. Garou and Sabbat assault Chicago, killing half the Kindred. Chicago lost to Sabbat (1993)
    1. Open warfare against Lupines and Sabbat drain all resources, called for help from Ventrue clan, but the cavalry was ambushed outside of Chicago O’Hare. No more help is offered to Chicago from Ventrue clan. (1999)
18. December, Heard that Ventrue Marcus Tiberius was recruiting to retake the city of Oklahoma City from Sabbat, Answers the call to exact revenge on Sabbat for Chicago. (2008)
