The Downtown Elysium was commissioned by Augustus Constantine in 2009. Construction was directed by Aleksandr Nikolaevich and completed in Febrary, 2010. It was part of the a larger Downtown Underground project.

As of March 4, 2011, it was declared to no longer be Elysium by Prince Cynric. It was replaced by Cynric's Estate Elysium.
